Phone ↔ Computer
A universal browser route for the moment a file is on your phone and needs to be on your computer—or the other way around.
Start this transfer →The short answer: To move a file from a phone to a computer, open Sendaway on the phone, select the file, and enter its temporary 6-digit code on the computer. The same steps work in reverse and do not require the devices to share an account.
Three steps
Select the file, photo or video you want to send.
Keep the page open while you move to the receiving device.
Choose Receive, enter the code and retrieve the transfer.
Why Sendaway
Use iPhone or Android with Windows, macOS, Linux or another device with a modern browser.
Avoid drafts, attachment limits and files lingering in an inbox just to move something you already own.
There is no login to remember on the second device. The temporary code is the handoff.
Compare methods
| Method | Best for | What to know |

| Small files sent to another person | Attachment limits and inbox copies | |
| Messaging app | Casual compressed media | May reduce quality and retains a chat copy |
| Cloud drive | Files you want to keep synced | Account and storage management required |
Troubleshooting
Keep the browser open and prevent the phone from sleeping until the upload or live transfer completes.
Codes are single-use and cloud transfers expire after 24 hours.
Check available disk space and the browser's download permissions.
Limits and availability: The free cloud tier accepts transfers up to 500 MB. Larger one-time cloud options reach 10 GB or 50 GB. Local Transfer is available when both devices are online together.
